The scholarship program of the Acacia Fraternity Foundation is designed to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduate Acacians for completing their education. General Foundation scholarships are available to all Acacians and additional scholarships are available to members of chapters with Foundation chapter endowment accounts.

Emma C. Allen Scholarship (Download the application.)

The Mrs. Emma C. Allen Memorial Scholarship was created by the Indiana Chapter Corporation Board in 2001 and is open to all undergraduate Acacians across to North America. Mrs. Allen, mother of David J. Allen, Indiana '57, International Council President, devoted countless hours to caring for road-weary Acacians on their travels to and from the chapter house in Bloomington, Indiana. In her honor, this scholarship recognizes deserving brothers exemplifying Acacia's core values: Virtue, Knowledge, & Truth.

Cornerstones Scholarship

As the Cornerstones program plays an integral part in our chapter across North America, the Acacia Fraternity Foundation is ensuring that our undergraduates are sufficiently recognized for their participation in this brotherhood initiative. At the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Acacia Fraternity Foundation, the board of directors decided to award a $1000 scholarship to excelling brothers in each of our participating chapters. Scholarship candidates are scored on their dedication to the program, the personal development strides they have made, and the impact they have had on their respective chapters, campuses, and communities.

Chapter Scholarships

The Foundation has established a general-purpose account for each Acacia chapter and colony. Contributions to your Foundation account are tax-deductible and can be used to support the following activities:

• Chapter scholarships and "Dollars for Scholars" programs
• Membership recruitment scholarship programs
• Leadership and other chapter achievement awards
• Funding for local educational seminars, chapter officer training, faculty speakers and community service projects
• Chapter library materials, including furniture and computers
• Internet and campus computer system connections, including monthly fees
• Study programs such as renting on-campus study rooms
• Expenses for attending Acacia’s Leadership Academy and leadership schools
